Dr. Hayley Haugen with Ohio University Southern will be available for small-group poetry critique sessions at the conference. If you would like to take part in one of these groups send a poem or two to haugen@ohio.edu before May 30th. There is no extra cost for these critiques.
Hayley Mitchell Haugen holds a Ph.D. in 20th Century American Literature from Ohio University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Washington. She is currently an Associate Professor of English at Ohio University Southern, where she teaches courses in composition, American literature, and creative writing. Her chapbook What the Grimmgirl Looks Forward to is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press. Other works have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Proteus, Rattle, Slant, Spillway, and the critical anthologies, The Body in Medical Culture; On the Literary Nonfiction of Nancy Mairs; and Stephen King’s Contemporary Classics: Reflections on the Modern Master of Horror, and elsewhere.
