West Virginia Writers is once again co-producing the free Literary Tea series with the Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg. The series will feature professional actors frm the theatre's current production of The Member of the Wedding by Carson McCullers as readers as well as area winners of the WV Writers Writing Contest. The readings are done while attendees enjoy cookies and tea.
The prose teas will take place the first four Mondays of October at 5:30 p.m. in the rehearsal hall of the Greenbrier Valley Theatre on Washington Street in Lewisburg. West Virginia Writers readers will include Eric Fritzius, Belinda Anderson, Benjamin Campbell, and Ellen Moore.
And following each Literary Tea will be a Carson McCullers Book Club event at 6:30 on each of the tea nights.
All Literary Tea events will take place at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre on Washington Street in Lewisburg. The events are free.
