The Greenbrier Valley Theatre in Lewisburg and West Virginia Writers, Inc. are cosponsoring the Community Poetry Tea edition of GVT's annual Literary Tea series. This will take place Monday, October 20, from 5:30 to 6:30 p at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre on Washington Street in Lewisburg.
At the community poetry tea, members of the community are welcome to come, enjoy tea and refreshments, and share either their own poetry or simply poetry they enjoy.
West Virginia Writers featured poet for the event is Sarah Elkins, who won First Place in Short Poetry and Honorable Mention in our Pearl S. Buck Award for Writing for Social Change category.
The literary tea series is free to attend and open to the public. It will start at 5:30 10/20/14 at Greenbrier Valley Theatre in downtown Lewisburg.
