New issue of HOLLER accepting final submissions

The publication of the Summer issue of HOLLER is just around the corner and still accepting poems or short prose through June 15.

Holler is now available in Princeton, Bluefield, Hinton, Lewisburg and Charleston.

Members Matter

WVW's own Raymond Neely has had a poem entitled "Moth Screams" accepted for publication in the forthcoming issue of Holler. Holler is a quarterly journal published by the Princeton Poetry Society. You can pick up a free issue of it at the 2010 WVW Summer Conference, or at locations in the Princeton/Bluefield area.

HOLLER Winter 2010 issue reception this week!

In celebration of the Winter 2010 issue of Holler, a reception and poetry reading will be held on Thursday, March 18, at 7:00 P.M., in the State Room of the Jerry L. Beasley Student Center at Concord University, Athens, WV.

Driving directions and a campus map are available on the university's website (http://www.concord.edu) under the "Parents and Visitors" menu. (The Stateroom is on the second floor of the Student Center.)

Please RSVP to Thomas McKenna (mckennat@concord.edu) as soon as possible and let us know how many guests you intend to bring. If you cannot attend, but would still like a copy of the journal, then please contact us.

Holler Winter Submissions Deadline

Once again, it's time to submit to Holler. The deadline for submissions for the Winter issue is January 31. We will start to review them on Monday, February 1. (You are more than welcome to submit after the deadline. If we have time, we will consider your work for the Winter issue. If not, then we will take a look at it in the Spring.)
